Meet Dr. Evie

Evie Christensen, DNP, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in family practice. Her professional background includes working within the Mayo Clinic Health System, where she further developed her expertise in comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Dr. Evie’s passion for preventive wellness and chronic disease management has expanded to include longevity, restorative wellness, hormone health, and aesthetics. At REGene Health & Wellness, she evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and prescribes medications when appropriate. Her services include wellness consultations, prescription-based weight management, hormone health, and aesthetic treatments.

Dr. Evie believes good care begins with listening and understanding each patient’s goals, health history, and concerns. Her approach emphasizes safe, evidence-based care, personalized treatment, and natural-looking results.

Outside of work, Dr. Evie lives in Ellsworth with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, gardening, and running.

Meet Monica

Monica Parks, RN, is a Registered Nurse who brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, a personal approach to patient care, and a passion for helping people look and feel their best to REGene Health & Wellness.

Throughout her nursing career, Monica has built her approach around listening to patients, understanding their individual goals, and helping them make informed decisions about their care. Her experience spans acute care, long-term care, nursing leadership, specialty pharmacy, and healthcare operations.

Monica's commitment to the nursing profession extends beyond direct patient care. She was appointed by the Governor of Minnesota to serve on the Minnesota Board of Nursing, where she contributed to nursing practice and policy development and served on the Nursing Practice Committee.

At REGene, Monica focuses on personalized aesthetic and wellness services, including injectable treatments and individualized client care. Her approach emphasizes safety, thoughtful treatment planning, and natural-looking results tailored to each client's goals.

Monica also recognizes that convenience and privacy are important. REGene offers a personal and flexible approach to care, including select services that may be provided in the comfort and privacy of a client's home.

Together with Dr. Evie, Monica's goal is to make REGene Health & Wellness a trusted, approachable medical aesthetics and wellness practice where clients feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their options, and receiving high-quality care without the impersonal feel of a traditional medical setting.
